Düferoth is a district of the city of Königswinter in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia . It belongs to the Stieldorf district and the Oelinghoven district ; on December 31, 2019, it had 179 inhabitants. Structurally, Düferoth has grown together with the district of Bockeroth .
The ending "-roth" indicates that the settlement was created after clearing a forest. In 1462 Düferoth was mentioned as Duvelroid . In the topographical survey of the Rhineland carried out at the beginning of the 19th century , the place name was still Duveroth .
