history

The Dürrhof was an outbuilding of the manor in the nearby Rottwerndorf , today a district of Pirna . It was mentioned in documents as early as 1445 as "Dorrenbach" and in 1486 as "Dornbach". In the 16th century, what was then known as the “Dorrenhof” was temporarily in desolation; in 1658 it was again used as an outbuilding for the Rottwerndorfer Rittergut. In 1875 it was a pub. At that time, a total of 42 people lived in the town's buildings. The Großcotta stop on the Pirna – Großcotta railway was located near the Dürrhof . The Cotta sandstone was found in its immediate vicinityBroken. The old manor buildings were demolished after the Second World War. The Dürrhof belonged to the rural community of Großcotta. The Dürrhof district was part of Cotta from 1950 and after its incorporation came to Dohma in 1998.
