Dōji Morita

Doji Morita ( jap. 森田童子 , Morita Doji * 15. January 1952 in Tokyo ; † 24. April 2018 in Tokyo) was a Japanese psychedelic folk - singer-songwriter .

Career

She recorded her first album, Good-bye , in 1975 after her boyfriend was killed. In the following years she recorded other albums until she ended her musical career in 1983 with the final concert for Wolf Boy in Tokyo . In the Japanese television series Kōkō Kyōshi from 1993 and in their remake from 2003, the song Boku-tachi no Shippai was used from their second album Mother Sky as the theme song, whereupon a best-of album was released.
