Dūkštos is a village with 311 inhabitants (2011) in the Lithuanian Rajong municipality of Vilnius , 8 km southwest of Maišiagala , on the KK108 ( Vievis –Maišiagala– Nemenčinė ) and KK171 ( Bukiškis - Sudervė –Dūkštos) roads , not far from the Neris River from the Dūkšta . It is the center of the Dūkštos administrative district . There is a secondary school, a primary school, a library (since 1951), a forestry , a medical point, a post office (LT-14019), a nature reserve. In 1856 a Catholic church and then a monastery was built.
