DB color card

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The DB color card is used to represent the colors that are mainly used for steel components (steel bridges, railings, platform roofs, etc.) in the area of Deutsche Bahn . In contrast to the colors of the RAL color system, the colors contain the effect pigment iron mica .

The paint is applied to the steel component as part of the corrosion protection . Depending on the corrosion protection system (regulated in the ZTV-ING, Part 4, Section 3 in connection with the TL / TP-KOR steel structures), the protective top layer consists of plastics or paints (based on epoxy resin or polyurethane ) with added iron mica.
