DJ Antaro
DJ Antaro or Antaro , actually Wolfgang Matthias Ahrens , (born October 17, 1953 in Hamburg ) is a German DJ and pioneer of psytrance music history.
Career
He started in 1991, just coming back from Goa , as one of the first in Germany with small Goa parties and in 1992 he organized the VooV Experience in Sprötze together with DJ Scotty , of which he was co-organizer until 2006. The VooV Experience (now VuuV Festival) was the largest psytrance party in Europe for years and has been taking place in Putlitz since 2001 . In 1994 he founded the Spiritzone label, which ceased its work around 2005. He has released over 150 albums with his label. The label Plusquam Records emerged from Spiritzone.

Wolfgang Ahrens mixes psytrance, techno, trance under the name Antaro and has events worldwide.
