DJ Gollum
DJ Gollum (bourgeois Lars Böge ) is a German DJ and music producer in the field of commercial electronic dance music. His style can be classified in the Hands Up genre and, as LAR5, also in the House genre . In addition to his work as a producer, Lars Böge is also regularly booked as a DJ in discos.
Career
DJ Gollum has been an artist in the dance scene since 1993 when he met DJ Hunter and assisted him at a village party. They became friends and decided to buy two turntables and a mixer. Together they hung up on various private parties. Böge then received his first official booking for the Secret in Wedel (today Maxx Musichall). He began buying a full set of studio gear and released his debut single, Black Arrows, through EDM Records. His success increased with his following singles Plastic Enemy together with Bulldozer . The success gave me the opportunity to hang up in 1996 at the Nosebleed Club in Scotland.
Pieces like Fairytale Gone Bad , In The Shadows and All The Things She Said are among his most famous titles. He also produces numerous remixes . In December 2009 his single Passenger was released on the Global Airbeatz label and his release Narcotic in cooperation with Basslovers United in 2010 via Zooland Records . Lars Böge also mixed the 2nd CD of the sampler We aRe oNe Vol. 4 .
On December 14, 2012, the song All My Girls was released as a single under the pseudonym LAR5 together with pop singer Jai Matt . He uses the pseudonym to be active under other names in the genre house and electro-pop . As LAR5, he also remixed the song Kill It On the Floor by Danny Suko, Denny Crane and Tommy Clint in two versions in 2013 . On the one hand as an electro remix and on the other hand as a pop mix.
In August 2013, the single Jump This Party was released under the name LAR5 in collaboration with Nicco and Jai Matt. For this song he mixed another version under the pseudonym DJ Gollum in hands-up style. This remix was released on May 31, 2013 on Future Trance Vol. 64, three months before the official release. He also mixed Nicco's song Ibiza as LAR5 and as DJ Gollum.
