history

Since the 19th century was the mayor Echtz (1928 Office Echtz the community) in Düren Schlich , after the Second World War in Schlich-D'horn has been renamed. On July 1, 1969, Schlich-D'horn was merged with the Merode municipality to form the new D'horn municipality through the law on the reorganization of municipalities in the Düren district , which in turn was incorporated into Langerwehe on January 1, 1972 by the Aachen law .
