DJ Martín García

DJ Martín García is an Argentinian DJ and producer in the field of electronic dance music from Buenos Aires . He is mainly active in house and progressive music and was mainly influenced by the British dance scene, but also by his compatriot Hernán Cattáneo .

García was voted 50th of the 100 most popular DJs in the world by readers of the well-known DJ Magazine in 2005 . He was among the Argentines in second place behind Hernán Cattáneo.

biography

Martín García's career began in the late 1990s. Soon after, he was playing in major discos in the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires, such as Puente Miter , La Embajada and Odeon . He gained a boost in popularity through his regular appearances in the city's most famous techno and house club, Pachá Buenos Aires , through which he was able to establish contacts with international DJs, as well as at the Creamfields rave party .

He has been working closely with Hernán Cattáneo in music production since 2001 and has authored club hits such as Deep Funk as well as some remixes that have appeared on Paul Oakenfold and John Digweed labels .
