The non-profit DOCK 11 GmbH is a free venue as well as a production and training facility with a focus on dance at two locations in Berlin . The EDEN ***** in Breiten Straße 43 in Pankow has been part of the DOCK 11 location at Kastanienallee 79 in Prenzlauer Berg since 2009 .

POOL has been a festival for dance films / video dance that has been held every September since 2007. Spatial development

There are two locations. The first location DOCK 11 is in a former craftsman's factory (built in 1895) at Kastanienallee 79, 10435 Berlin. There are three studios, a theater as well as a shop and a café. In 1994 the DOCK 11 dance school opened with Hall 1, followed in 1995 by Hall 2. In 1999 the theater hall was expanded and regular theater operations began, and in 2015 Hall 3 with a shop was also rented.

The second location is EDEN ***** in two villas (built in 1910 and 1870), with a coach house (built in 1910) and two new buildings (built in 2009) with four studios, a theater, artist residence with guest rooms, various studios and Work rooms, a large garden and a café are located at Breiten Straße 43, 13187 Berlin. In 2008 DOCK 11 GmbH leased the villas, the coach house and the 5000 m² plot of land with a heritable building lease contract with the city of Berlin and opened two new buildings in 2009.

The theater hall of DOCK 11 has been sponsored by "The Governing Mayor of Berlin - Senate Chancellery - Cultural Affairs" since 2000 with a two-year venue grant. The construction costs of the new buildings in EDEN were financed by the "Stiftung Deutsche Klassenlotterie".
