Drama forum
The Drama Forum ( spelling DRAMA FORUM ) is an initiative of uniT - Association for Culture at the Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz . The Drama Forum promotes the production of performative texts. Innovative formats for the theater are developed and new writing and performance strategies are tested.
Forum text
The focus of the work of the Drama Forum is the course for scenic writing Forum Text . Young authors are supported in their development for two years. The training consists of discussions, workshops, expert input, mentoring and work studios and takes place in ten work blocks. Loosely related to this is the biennial awarding of the Retzhofer Dramapreis literary prize since 2003, whose applicants must take part in Forum Text workshops for nine months.

The course is advertised biennially. Approximately seven participants are accepted per course.
