D Creation is a Finnish melodic death metal band from Nurmijärvi , which was founded in 1999 under the name Alfthar . The group was active under the names Dusk , Arcanum and Dawn Creation before it was renamed D Creation .

history

The group was founded in May 1999 as a school band under the name Alfthar and consisted of the singer Taavi Forssell, the guitarists Esa Rauhala and Heikki Aronen, the bassist Antti Vaha, the keyboardist Mika Kurvinen and the drummer Marco Lauriola. After the Dark Northern Land demo was recorded, Vaha and Kurvinen left the cast. Keyboardist Tuukka Jääskeläinen and bassist Juha Kettunen joined as replacements before Rauhala left the band. Then Forssell took over the electric guitar in December 1999, whereupon the group renamed itself Dusk. 2001 further demo recordings were made, but the band was dissatisfied with these, which is why it was decided against the publication. In 2003 it was renamed Arcanum, whereupon the demo Children of the Night was recorded in the Rockstar Studios in Hyvinkää . After Aronen and Jääskeläinen left the band, a suitable replacement was found in the guitarist Jan Jokinen and the keyboardist Heidi Hakoinen. It was renamed again to Dawn Creation and in 2004 a demo under the name System Overload . 2006 saw the last renaming to D Creation. In spring 2009 the debut album Silent Echoes was released . In the same year the band could be seen live on the Nummirock in Kauhajoki and together with Soulfly in Tampere . In 2010 she took part in the MetalOrgy in Helsinki . In 2014 the next album was released under the name Moderate Album .
