Dagens Industri , or DI for short , is a Swedish business newspaper based in Stockholm that appears six days a week .

Founded in 1976 by Bonnierverlag as a technical specialist newspaper , it was distributed in the first few years by its subsidiary "Bonnier Business Press". In 1981 the newspaper was realigned towards the company and the stock exchange. Today, DI calls itself “Sweden's leading business newspaper”.

DI employs around 100 editorial staff, including correspondents. The local editorial offices in Sweden are located in Gothenburg and Malmö , and Gunilla Herlitz has been the editor-in-chief since 2003. According to its own information, the newspaper has 115,000 subscribers and 450,000 readers.

Formats

  • Since 2002 there has been a weekend edition called DI Weekend , which appears on Fridays and reaches 191,000 (2006) readers.
  • In addition to the usual Internet presence , DI operates the platform dinapengar.se together with the newspaper Expressen , which is primarily intended to address households and private entrepreneurs.
  • The sister newspaper DiEgo is also operated, which is aimed particularly at readers between 25 and 35 years of age.
