Expressen is a Swedish tabloid published on November 16, 1944 by Albert Bonnier jun. , Ivar Harrie and Carl-Adam Nycop . The publishing company AB Kvällstidningen Expressen is part of the Bonnier media group . The chairman is Bengt Ottosson, editor-in-chief and responsible publisher Otto Sjöberg. The newspaper appears seven days a week all year round.

The publishing house is located in the center of Stockholm . Expressen also owns the two regional newspapers Göteborgs-Tidningen (GT) and Kvällsposten with editorial offices in Gothenburg and Malmö, respectively .

Like many other daily newspapers, Expressen is struggling with a general decline in readers. While the circulation in 2005 was 305,400 copies on weekdays and 425,600 copies on weekends and holidays, in 2016 - together with GT and Kvällsposten - it was an estimated 125,000 copies.
