The Dagestanskaja Prawda ( Russian Дагестанская правда ) is the most important Russian- language daily newspaper in Dagestan .

history

The newspaper appeared under the name "Dagestanski truschenik" for the first time on March 9, 1918 and went through numerous renaming in the first years of its existence. It received its current name in 1932. In 1968 the Dagestanskaya Pravda was awarded the Badge of Honor of the Soviet Union . The editorial office is located in Makhachkala , the edition is around 16,500 copies.
