Daglha Gampo Monastery ( Tib . : dwags lha sgam po ) is a monastery of the Kagyu school tradition of Tibetan Buddhism . It is located in the east of the Gyaca (Gyatsha) district of Shannan (Lhoka) in the area of ​​the Yarlung Zangbo Valley at an altitude of 4150 m. The monastery was founded in 1121 by Gampopa (the "doctor of Dhagpo"), a student of Milarepa , and is the ancestral monastery of the Dagpo-Kagyu branch of the Kagyu school tradition. After Gampopa's death, the succession passed to his nephew Gompa Tshälthrim Nyingpo ( sgom pa tshul khrims snying po ).

More recently, archaeological digs have been carried out there by the Tibet Museum (Xizang bowuguan).

The monastery is on the list of monuments of the Tibet Autonomous Region .
