Dahou Ould Kablia

Dahou Azouane Ould Kablia (born May 4, 1933 in Tangier ) is an Algerian politician . He has been Minister of the Interior and Local Authorities (ministre de l'Intérieur et des Collectivités locales) in the Ouyahia VIII cabinet since 2010 and in the Abdelmalek Sellal cabinet since the parliamentary elections in Algeria in 2012 .

Life

After obtaining his university entrance qualification in 1955, he studied law at the University of Toulouse from 1956 . Subsequently, he held the position of Wali (governor) in various provinces. Nothing is known about its functions during the Algerian Civil War . In 2001 he was appointed senator. In the same year he was commissioned as a delegated minister to the Ministry of the Interior and the local authorities to look after the local authorities. In 2010 he took over the entire ministry. He has held this post since then and was responsible for the deployment of the Algerian army and security forces during the hostage-taking of In Aménas .
