The province of Tiaret ( Arabic ولاية تيارت, DMG Wilāyat Tiyārat , tamazight ⴰⴳⴻⵣⴷⵓ ⵏ ⵜⵢⴰⵔⴻⵜ Agezdu n Tyaret ) is a province ( wilaya ) in Algeria .

The province is located southwest of the capital Algiers in the transition area between the densely populated north and the sparsely populated south. It covers an area of ​​19,556 km².
