The province of El Bayadh ( Arabic ولاية البيض, DMG Wilāyat al-Bayaḍ , tamazight ⴰⴳⴻⵣⴷⵓ ⵏ ⵍⴱⴰⵢⴻⴹ Agezdu n Lbayeḍ ) is a province ( wilaya ) in western Algeria .

The province lies in the transition area from the Sahara Atlas to the Sahara desert and covers an area of ​​78,870 km².

With 228,624 inhabitants (Statistics 2008) it is very sparsely populated, the population density is around 2.9 inhabitants per square kilometer.

The capital of the province is El Bayadh .
