El Bayadh ( Arabic البيض, DMG al-Bayaḍ , tamazight ⵍⴱⴰⵢⴻⴹ Lbayeḍ , during the French colonial period Geryville ) is a city in Algeria . It had a population of 85,577 people at the last census in 2008 . It is the capital of the province of the same name ( Wilaya ) El Bayadh .
