The province of M'Sila ( Arabic ولاية المسيلة, DMG Wilāyat al-Masīla , tamazight ⴰⴳⴻⵣⴷⵓ ⵏ ⵎⵙⵉⵍⴰ Agezdu n Msila ) is a province ( wilaya ) in northern Algeria .
The province lies in the transition area from the densely populated north of the country to the sparsely populated Sahara and covers an area of 17,891 km².
Around 945,000 people (2006 estimate) inhabit the province, so the population density is around 53 inhabitants per square kilometer.
The capital of the province is M'Sila , another city with over 100,000 inhabitants is Bou Saâda .
