El Meniaa ( Arabic ولاية المنيعة, DMG Wilāyat al-Manīʿa ) is a province ( wilaya ) in central Algeria . The provincial capital is El Meniaa .

The newly created province in December 2019 was previously part of the Ghardaia province . It lies in the Sahara and borders on five provinces: Ghardaia in the north, Ouargla in the east, In Salah in the south, Timimoun in the west and El Bayadh in the northwest.

With 61,647 inhabitants (as of 2008) on 62,215 km² it is only sparsely populated, the population density is around 1 inhabitant per square kilometer.
