The Skikda Province ( Arabic ولاية سكيكدة, DMG Wilāyat Sukaikida , tamazight ⴰⴳⴻⵣⴷⵓ ⵏ ⵙⴽⵉⴽⴷⴰ Agezdu n Skikda ) is a province ( wilaya ) in northeastern Algeria .

The province is located on the Mediterranean coast near the Tunisian border, it includes the city of Skikda and its surrounding area and has an area of ​​4197 km.

Around 877,000 people (2006 estimate) inhabit the province, so the population density is around 209 inhabitants per square kilometer.

The province's economy is dominated by the port and petrochemical industry of the city of Skikda , and the beaches are also a magnet for domestic tourists. In the province, agricultural production plays an important role for export. All kinds of fruits, vegetables and wheat are to be mentioned. In the mountains to the east of Skikda there are abundant marble deposits that are mined for domestic use and export. The good connection of the city to Constantine and Annaba promotes the growth of the region.
