The Tissemsilt Province ( Arabic ولاية تيسمسيلت, DMG Wilāya Tīsamsīlat , tamazight ⴰⴳⴻⵣⴷⵓ ⵏ ⵜⵉⵙⴻⵎⵙⵉⵍⵜ Agezdu n Tisemsilt ) is a province ( wilaya ) in northern Algeria .

The province is located southwest of the capital Algiers in the Atlas Mountains , its area is 3208 km².

Around 271,000 people (2006 estimate) inhabit the province, so the population density is around 85 inhabitants per square kilometer.

The capital of the province is Tissemsilt .
