Daigō Watanabe ( Japanese 渡 邉 大 剛 Watanabe Daigō ; born December 3, 1984 in Nagasaki Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Watanabe learned to play soccer on the school team at Kunimi High School . He signed his first contract in 2003 with Kyoto Purple Sanga (today: Kyoto Sanga FC). The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of the 2003 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . In 2005 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose again to the J1 League. At the end of the 2006 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. At the end of the 2007 season, the club rose again to the J1 League. For the club, he completed 169 league games. In 2011 he moved to league rivals Omiya Ardija . At the end of the 2014 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club, he completed 148 league games. In 2016 he moved to Busan IPark . In July 2016 he moved to second division Kamatamare Sanuki . For the club he completed 80 league games. At the end of 2018 he ended his career as a football player.
