Dainius Junevičius

Dainius Junevičius (born July 28, 1958 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian diplomat and ambassador .

Life

After graduating from high school in Kaunas in 1976, he completed his diploma in physics at Vilnius University in 1981 . From 1985 to 1988 he studied as a trainee at the semiconductor physics institute of the Lietuvos mokslų akademija . From 1981 to 1983 he worked as an engineer in the company "Venta" and from 1983 to 1990 as a research assistant . From 1991 he worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania . From 1992 to 1994 he was ambassador to Poland , from 2001 to 2006 in Greece (from 2002 to 2006 also in Bulgaria , Romania and Albania ), from 2010 in Egypt .
