Dainius Steponavičius

Dainius Steponavičius (born August 18, 1971 in Jonava ) is a Lithuanian agricultural scientist and professor at the Aleksandras Stulginskis University in Kaunas .

Life

After graduating from the Jonava Middle School , Steponavičius graduated from the Agricultural Engineering degree in 1996, the Agricultural Engineering Master’s degree in 1998 and the Ecology and Environmental Studies Master’s degree at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio universitetas in 2008 . From 1998 to 2000 he worked for the state company VĮ “ Pieno tyrimai”. On May 6, 2006 Steponavičius doctorate on grain separation (about Grūdų separacijos per šiaudų sluoksnį ant klavišų intensyvinimo tyrimai ) in Engineering of mechanics at the Kauno technologijos universitetas . From 2004 to 2005 he was an assistant at the university. From 2005 to 2007 Steponavičius taught as a lecturer and from 2007 as a lecturer, as well as headed the Chair of Agricultural Machinery at the Lithuanian Agricultural University . Now he is the director of the Institute of Engineering and Agricultural Safety of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and teaches as a professor at the Aleksandras Stulginskis University .

His father was Fabijonas Steponavičius (1950-2004). His mother is Aldona Steponavičienė (Palubeckaitė), a preschool teacher. Dainius Steponavičius has two sisters.

Steponavičius is married to Aušra Povilaitytė.
