Daisuke Saitō ( Japanese 斉 藤 大 介 Saitō Daisuke ; born August 29, 1980 in Osaka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Saitō learned to play football in the school team of Konko Daiichi High School . He signed his first contract in 1999 with Kyoto Purple Sanga (today: Kyoto Sanga FC). The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2002 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . For the club he completed 202 games. In 2008 he moved to the second division club Vegalta Sendai . In 2009 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League. For the club he completed 71 games. In 2011 he moved to the second division side Tokushima Vortis . At the end of the 2013 season, the club rose to the J1 League. At the end of the 2014 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club he completed 120 games. In 2016 he moved to third division team Tochigi SC . He then played for Kochi United SC (2017) and Ococias Kyoto AC (2018). At the end of 2018 he ended his career as a football player.
