Daizō Okitsu ( Japanese 興 津 大三 , Okitsu Daizō ; born June 15, 1974 in Hyōgo Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Okitsu learned to play soccer on the school team of Shimizu Commercial High School and the university team of Tsukuba University . He signed his first contract with Shimizu S-Pulse in 1997 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 1998 he reached the final of the Imperial Cup . In 1999 he was runner-up in the J1 League with the club. For the club he completed 17 top division games. In 2000 he moved to league rivals Cerezo Osaka . For the club, he completed 12 top division games. At the end of 2000 he ended his career as a soccer player.
