Dallas Tamaira
Dallas Tamaira or better known as Joe Dukie is the singer of the New Zealand group Fat Freddy's Drop . His pseudonym refers to the name of his father Joe, also a singer, and that of his grandfather, a musician named Dukie, named after Duke Ellington.
Dallas' style is largely influenced by Bill Withers . Tamaira was nominated for best singer at the b-Net NZ Music Awards 2005.
