Dalmuir ( Scottish Gaelic : Dail Mhoire ) is an area in western Clydebank and a place in West Dunbartonshire , Scotland . The neighboring towns are Old Kilpatrick , the Mountblow and Parkhall areas, and Clydebank town center. Dalmuir has a train station with five platforms, the Dalmuir railway station on the North Clyde Line .
Dalmuir used to be a place in its own right, but was taken over by the growing shipbuilding industry of Clydebanks.
The place is particularly known for the shipbuilding company Beardmore , which drew a large number of workers to the place, Dalmuir Park and the two churches Dalmuir Barclay Church and St Stephen's Church.
