The Dalsnatten (Norwegian for Talfels ) is a rocky outcrop in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises on the east side of Skarsdalen in Sverdrupfjella .

The first aerial photographs of the formation were taken during the German Antarctic Expedition (1938–1939). Norwegian cartographers, who also made the descriptive naming of the rock, mapped it on the basis of measurements and aerial photographs of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952) and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
