Paul Seyffert

Paul Seyffert was a German athlete who was successful as a runner over 3000 meters in the years before the First World War . He started for SC Charlottenburg .

Seyffert won three German championships in a row: 1910 (10: 27.4 min), 1911 (10: 14.0 min) and 1912 (10: 15.7 min). In 1913 he gave up in the final. His achievements of 10: 27.4 minutes on August 26, 1910 in Berlin and of 10: 06.0 minutes on July 30, 1911 in Frankfurt am Main were world records, but before 1954 there were no uniform dimensions of the obstacles and therefore no official ones World records.

Seyffert died during the First World War.
