The Dalton iceberg tongue is a glacier tongue on the Sabrina coast of the East Antarctic Wilkesland . It extends seaward to the eastern part of the Moscow University Ice Shelf .

Aerial photographs of the US American Operation Highjump (1946–1947) were used for the first partial mapping. Its geographic location was specified in 1958 based on observations made by the Australian polar explorer Phillip Law during an overflight as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE). Law visited the glacier tongue in another ANARE campaign in 1960. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named them on October 11, 1960 after Robert Frederick Martin Dalton (1907 - unknown), deputy head of the ANARE campaign led by Law that same year.
