Coordinates: 30 ° 16 ′ S , 116 ° 39 ′ E The Shire of Dalwallinu is a local government area (LGA) in the Australian state of Western Australia . The area is 7236 km² and has about 1400 inhabitants (2016).
Dalwallinu is located in the western Australian "wheat belt" in the west of the state on the Great Northern Highway about 200 kilometers northeast of the capital Perth . The seat of the Shire Council is in the village of Dalwallinu, where about 700 inhabitants live (2016).

The Dalwallinu Council has ten members elected by residents of the three wards (six from the South, two each from the North and East Ward). The Council Chairman and President des Shires are also recruited from among the Councilor.
