Paul Damance
Paul Damance OSST (also: Paul d'Amance ; * around 1650 in Lisieux ; † around 1700 there) was a French organist and composer .
Paul Damance was a clergyman in a convent of the Trinitarian order , as well as organist in a convent of the same order in his hometown Lisieux.
Only a few masses in the Gregorian style (plain-chant), which are dedicated to religious in the abbeys of Chelles and Fontevrault , have survived from Damance , which shows his ties to these abbeys. In 1701 and 1707 Christophe Ballard published several Masses Damances, with different titles.
