Damhnait Doyle (born December 9, 1975 in Labrador City , Newfoundland and Labrador , Canada ) is a Canadian pop singer. Her Irish first name is pronounced like Davnet . Between 1996 and 2003 she released three solo albums, was then a member of the Shaye group from 2003 to 2009 and released her fourth solo album in 2009.

As a child, Damhnait Doyle took guitar and clarinet lessons. She released her first album in 1996. The single A List of Things , which was extracted from it, reached the Canadian singles charts and was nominated for the Juno Award and the East Coast Music Award . The singles Never Too Late and Tattooed from their second album of 2000 also hit the charts. After her third album, she joined the band Shaye. Her album, released in 2009, consists of cover versions of well-known songs.
