Dan Boyle (politician)

Dan Boyle ( Irish Dónal Ó Baoill , born August 14, 1962 ) is an Irish politician and since 2007 Senator in the Seanad Éireann .

1991 Boyle was the first politician to his party in the City Council of Cork ( Cork City Council selected). In 2002 he resigned from this office as he was elected to the Dáil Éireann that same year . However, he was unable to defend his seat there in the 2007 elections. During his mandate in the Irish House of Commons, Boyle Whip was his party, this corresponds to a Parliamentary Secretary . In the course of his party's participation in government, Boyle was appointed Senator in the Seanad Éireann by Taoiseach Brian Cowen in 2007 and is thus one of the three green senators alongside Niall Ó Brolcháin and Mark Deary.

Boyle is married and has one daughter.
