Dan Fesperman
Dan Fesperman (born September 15, 1955 in the USA ) is an American journalist and writer .
Life
Dan Fesperman grew up in Charlotte, USA . After studying journalism and history at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill , he worked as a journalist for the Miami Herald and the Baltimore Sun, among others . From 1993 to 1996 he reported on the Yugoslav wars as a correspondent from the Sun's Berlin office . His trip to Sarajevo in 1994 inspired his award-winning first novel, Lie in the Dark (dt. Lie in the dark ).
