Dan Janvey

Dan Janvey (born January 1984 ) is a film producer who mainly focuses on short films and was nominated for an Oscar in 2013 .

Life

In 2005 Dan Janvey appeared as a producer of short films . In 2012 he was the producer of the documentary Tchoupitoulas . In the same year he was responsible with Michael Gottwald and Josh Penn as the producer of the fantasy drama Beasts of the Southern Wild . This received a nomination in the Best Film category at the 2013 Academy Awards . The film, which has already received an AFI Award for Best Film of the Year, was also the directorial debut of Benh Zeitlin , who received two Academy Awards nominations.
