Dana Ivgy ( Hebrew דאנה איבגי; * April 3, 1982 in Tel Aviv-Jaffa ) is an Israeli actress .

Life

Dana Ivgy is the daughter of Israeli filmmaker and actor Moshe Ivgy and actress Irit Sheleg . She made her acting debut at the side of her father in Gur Heller's drama Malachim B'Ruah in 1992 . She received greater attention in 2002 when she was nominated for the Israeli film prize Ophir Award for best supporting actress for her performances in the two Israeli dramas Beitar Provence and The Barbecue People . For her portrayal of Or in Keren Yedaya's drama A Daughter , she won an Ophir Award for Best Actress in 2004. Two more nominations in the same category followed in 2009 for her acting in Haiu Leilot and Jaffa . In 2014 she won the award again for her role in Zero Motivation - Welcome to the Army! .
