Dana Todorović

Dana Todorović ( Cyrillic : Дана Тодоровић; born October 2, 1977 in Belgrade ) is a writer and actress from Serbia .

Life

Dana Todorović comes from a family of Serbian actors; her father Bora Todorović , her half-brother Srđan Todorović and her aunt Mira Stupica are also known outside the Balkans. Dana initially studied acting herself, but after translating for the UN for six years , she later devoted herself mainly to literature.

She has published two children's books in Slovenia and several short stories in literary magazines in Serbia.

Her first novel was published in Serbia in 2008, shortly afterwards in English and in 2016 in German. For her second novel, Park Logovskoj (German: Sopotin ), she was shortlisted for the NIN Literature Prize , the most important Serbian award for writers , at the beginning of 2016 .
