In 2015, Danai was Minister at the Thai Embassy in Vienna .

Until 2018, Danai was Thai Consul General in Savannakhet, Lao . On June 21, 2018, Danai presented his accreditation as Thai Ambassador to East Timor to East Timor’s President Francisco Guterres . Danai follows Patchanee Kithavorn in office . In 2020 Danai was replaced by Ekapol Poolpipat in Dili.
