Dance with a Stranger is a Norwegian pop-rock band formed in Bergen in 1984 . With their albums they have reached number 1 in the Norwegian charts three times.

The group members are: Frode Alnæs (guitar, vocals), Øivind Elgenes (vocals) and Bjørn Jenssen (drums). Yngve Moe (electric bass) died on April 17th, 2013 at the age of 55.
