DR Ultra ( Danmarks Radio Ultra) is a Danish public television broadcaster .

The station started on March 4, 2013 at 6:30 a.m. as a children's and youth program under public law. Since January 2, 2020, DR Ultra can only be received via live stream due to extensive cost-cutting measures. In addition, reception via Zattoo is possible within Denmark. DR Ultra is aimed at the seven to twelve year olds and sees itself as an offshoot of DR Ramasjang . DR Ultra took over the frequencies from DR Update .

Radio station

At the same time as the TV broadcasting operations, the DR Ultra radio station also started. He shared the frequencies with DR Ramasjang. At the end of 2014, both radio stations ceased operations.

Reception in Germany

The TV transmitter could be received via DVB-T in large parts of Schleswig-Holstein (north of the Kiel Canal with indoor antenna; south of the Kiel Canal with roof antenna and increased effort). The radio station could be received in the border area via DAB.
