DR3 ( Danmarks Radio 3) is a Danish public television broadcaster.
The station started on January 28, 2013 as the third public service program alongside DR1 and DR2 . It replaced the channel DR HD and was broadcast in HDTV (720p). Since January 2, 2020, DR3 can only be received via live stream due to far-reaching savings measures . In addition, reception via Zattoo is possible within Denmark . DR3 is aimed at 15 to 39 year olds and shows a program of in-house productions and licensed goods (such as 30Rock , Family Guy , Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and The Walking Dead ).
Reception in Germany
The transmitter could be received via DVB-T in large parts of Schleswig-Holstein (north of the Kiel Canal with an indoor antenna; south of the Kiel Canal with a roof antenna and increased effort). Since all public television programs in Denmark were broadcast in MPEG-4 compression, an MPEG4-compatible television set or MPEG4-compatible DVB-T receiver was required for reception.
