DR Update ( Danmarks Radio Update) was a news channel from Danmarks Radio.
The channel started on June 7, 2007. Like its sister channels, DR Update could also be received via webstream via the Danmarks Radio website. In addition, reception via Zattoo was possible within Denmark. DR Update was also responsible for the news programs that aired at 12:00 PM, 3:00 PM and 5:50 PM on DR1 . The editorial team will continue to supply DR1 beyond March 4, 2013. On March 4, 2013, DR Update was closed as an independent TV channel. At midnight sharp, DR Ultra took over the frequencies from DR Update and replaced it on all distribution channels. Most of the content of the DR Update will be incorporated into the new DR2 , which will be of greater importance.
Reception in Germany
Until it was closed on March 4, 2013, the channel was receivable via DVB-T in large parts of Schleswig-Holstein (north of the Kiel Canal with indoor antenna; south of the Kiel Canal with roof antenna and increased effort).
