DR P2 is a Danish public radio station.

It is the second public radio station in Denmark and has been on the air since 1951. The transmitter is a radio program for classical music and chamber music.

Reception in Germany

In the German-Danish border area, the station can be received via VHF and DAB. In addition, Kabel Deutschland P2 feeds analogue into large parts of the Schleswig-Holstein cable networks. Otherwise reception via the Internet is also possible. Since 2011, DR P2 has had to share the VHF chain with DR P1 , as the fourth VHF chain was assigned to private broadcaster. Since then, P2 can only be received terrestrially via DAB for 24 hours. On April 5, 2011, Berlingske People A / S received the former P2 frequency chain for its Radio24syv program .
