Danesh ( Persian : دانش; DMG : Dāneš ; German : "Knowledge") is the title of seven different Persian-language magazines that have been published since 1882. From 1974 a yearbook of history and literature in Persian and Urdu under the title Danesh was published by the Persian Department of Kashmir University in Srinagar . The editor was Shams-ad-Dīn Aḥmad . Copies of these are kept in the Central Library of Tehran University .
