Daniel "Dani" Abalo Paulos (born September 29, 1987 in Vilagarcía de Arousa ) is a Spanish football player .

Player career

Abalo started his career at Celta Vigo . In December 2005 he first played for the B team in the Segunda División B . In December 2006 he finally made his debut for the professionals in the Primera División ; he was substituted on the 13th matchday of the 2006/07 season against RCD Mallorca twelve minutes before the end. With Vigo he had to relegate to the Segunda División at the end of the season . In the 2008/09 season Abalo was a regular player.

For the 2015/16 season he moved to the Turkish first division club Sivasspor . During the next winter break he left this club and joined the Spanish second division club Deportivo Alavés . After Alavés was promoted to the Primera División, he left the club in the summer of 2016.
